Found this photo (crap colours - iPhone camera does not like bright sunshine).
This was OMEXs Striker, with a 350bhp (!!!) s/c Zetec. The prototype setup resulted in the supercharger belt snapping after a few laps.

Don't think the belt realy broke. A better description would be melted through!

Just been out in the Striker to make sure everything still works as it should, and is securely in place (lights, exhaust, wheel nuts, fuel tank etc).
I noticed that the oil level had dropped more than is healthy - did anyone spot my car burning oil during the day ? It is certainly leaking it a fair bit, but I can live with that.
Cheers,
Pete

There was a little puff, when you lifted off for the Bus Stop .... but not significant IMHO

Was the supercharged Striker getting hot ? Would have liked to seen engine that as it would fit into my Phoenix ...

It did a couple of laps before starting to overheat. It's got the 1lt polo rad in and it's not big enough.
It was lighting the tyres up at 100mph in the back strieght!

I think it cost me around the 3K mark to S/C the Mazda lump. The Omex one was similar but i think he'd done quite a bit on the Engine too. So not cheap.

so 3k for a working one, more for one that doesn't work and eats belts.
I think I know which I would choose.
