Hi All
A friend of mine at work has organised a day a Curborough sprint track on Thursday 18/03/10 at the bargain price of £56. I'm going in the Mojo and he has one spare place still remaining. For those of you unfamiliar with Curborough I've pinched this text from his email:
It is a sprint track so is a lot smaller than your average race track. Also only one car runs at a time. However as it is only us there we can change some of the format ie 5 laps per go seems to work well. For novices who don’t like being watched or having other cars on track with them this is a good place to start. Also I should add that for those that no longer consider themselves novices they also have the freedom to perhaps try more than they would normally be prepared to on a competition day.
You will need to bring (and wear) a crash helmet.
Passengers and extra drivers are free however the car goes to the back of the queue after each run so if you are sharing your car you will get less drives.
Facilities are minimal, porta loos (usually with paper!) and no catering so bring your own munchies.
Only one place left so if you fancy it be quick.
Cheers
Tom
