Yes, it's got a quaife ATB diff. That does tend to make it a bit lively when it's wet.

Hi Adrian,
Sorry to see that the car's taken another beating, but as you say it can happen if you hammer them on track. At least it's still kind of Fury shaped!
This weather is just awful, looking like it might be next year now before I get out again. Was in the garage tidying yesterday and it was very damp and miserable.

Re: Oulton Park Nov13th
I've got Oulton Park booked in on the 4th December....yikes
Its probably going to be wet...I'm on AO48s and have dropped them down to 16psi in the rear. I did Rockingham last week and managed to light the rears up on the A14 with a gentle acceleration in 4th gear. I had 18psi in at the time and dropping the pressure seemed to help...slightly. On track as it dried out they didnt overheat at all. Any other tips??????

I always put the pressures up which helps get some more heat in them on track. I found that on a wet track the 888s i have on had more grip than toyo T1Rs. Make sure you soften the suspension up a bit too. I did Brands last December in torrential rain and couldnt believe the grip i was getting from 888s.

Re: Oulton Park Nov13th
There's an optimium pressure for all tyres and the R888's fitted on kits around 600 kgs will give most grip at 17psi . Re-set them again back to 17psi after pitting just before you go out again. Running water on track conditions --- put another 3psi in and soften the shocks . Higher pressure = more water clearing ability
I found that YOKO's optimum is 1psi less . I never put more pressure in simply for track driving though
