Can't reverse my current un-covered trailer so this will make no difference :D

Its Pete Gouldings old trailer so you have probably seen it at an event or two, its low level (had to be to get through my barn door for storage) so I can possibly see over it a bit when connected to the Disco Sport (not tried it yet).

Unfortunately, I can't. I'm free on Sat but can't get away Fri and have to be back here Sunday morning. Given the distance going there and back on sat would be to much.

Pity, the CKC days are always a good laugh and very relaxed compared to some other track days and we haven't seen you since Blyton 2017.

I am not quite sure why CKC have moved Blyton to August now, maybe it is better for some but I suspect many (like me) will be busy with family holidays

That's a decent turn out. I wonder how many are JPSC members?

How was the day?

Here's a few of the Strikers in the morning, including the Omex and Raw demo cars.

I had a mixed day. I wasn't aware how loud my exhaust had got, so to get on track i was limping round with a db killer fitted which was also a major rpm and bhp killer.
The car itself was good excepting the lack of power, I think a revisit is due once i have a more compliant exhaust system, i was topping out at approx 95 which was slowing things down on the straights.

If i get a chance i'll upload some videos of the day.

Not sure how many were JPSC members and I was to busy to ask really.

The weather was perfect really and as always everyone behaved well. My car ran perfectly and I never needed to even lift the bonnet, I just got in and drove it. My new fuel tank is great, deliberately ran it low at the end of the day but no fuel starvation at anytime :D

I did miss one of my group sessions as I had to go off and get a leaking tyre valve changed on the trailer but otherwise plenty of track time 8-)

I will get some videos up latter in the week but just had a first look at my data. I am quicker than before but can still see a few places I am braking and turning too early, better than last time but still more to come from me in this car.

I am also cautious on 'exploring the track limits' ;) I think it is out of mechanical sympathy for my car! Taking the kerb may be quicker but its a hell of a bump

Best lap this time was 46.76 seconds (48.somthing last year) although my best sector times show I could do a 45 second lap if I could string it all together.

Its not a high speed track, top speed was 104mph.

I would like to have followed one or two of the other fast cars around to see the lines in one or two places but it never worked out that way. Next step really is for some driver training but I said that last year :)
