Small video of the Phoenix at Brands today. Had a failed front wheel bearing which I fixed at the track in the morning and then open pitlane in the afternoon.

Nice!
Good thing that the bearing didn't expire on the way home from Llandow. What hubs do you have? which side was it?

The hubs are the Rally Design ones and it was the nearside front. I think the failure was probable my fault when I fitted them a few months ago. Luckly I was able to get the whole assembly off in the pits at Brands and take it to a very local garage who had a Escort bearing kit in stock. Just lost the morning. The video is my first attempt with the ATK 5000 camera and it is an odd angle with too much wind noise.....but it is a start.

That'd be the one that took all the load on those right hand corners at Llandow.
In all the years Sierras were about I only ever fitted one front bearing, whereas we fitted Escort and Cortina ones all the time. Probably the only thing Sierra hubs have in thier favor
