Have a great time. We where at Blyton yesterday ( I beat Richard Usher who was sprinting a McLaren 650S !). While you are there have a think about laptimes, my best from a standing start on cold tyres is a 68 secs but a Gould single seater broke the lap record yesterday and did a 54 sec run....

Yes, heard earlier that it's listed as full from someone else who was thinking of signing up.

Jeff, impressive but I'm guessing that isn't Richards car to break?

What sort of power are you running Jeff?

I've managed what looked to be about a 67 in the Westfield (was a double lapper, but if you chop the video up a bit it can become one 'normal' sprint lap) despite nearly stalling off the line, haha, so it'll be interesting to see what the Fury can do with getting on for half as much power (and tyres that aren't ZZR super softs!)...

400BHP on cold tyres....The quickest of the Westfields this year ran a 65sec. A flying lap on warm tyres should be 60-63 sec or so

Location and a lack of balls. and being fussy as its still not quite right.
And available time off work.

Once I get it on track I'll have a full list of reasons why I was slow. :D

Blyton is over 200 miles each way trip for me. I'd love to attend but I can't justify two weekends away at Blyton...

Nice one. Lots of grunt then, awesome :D

Yeah, that 67 was a standing start / cold tyres sprint lap, couldn't get near the top guys as my car actually gets used on the road (rather than just once a year to the MOT station) and was at least 30bhp down and minimum 80kg heavier, but still fun to try.

Looking forward to this, still got a lot of work to do on the car though...

We're on holiday so couldn't make this weekend anyway, but the split track day / sprint format puts me off a bit. All that'll happen there is the wife will beat me  - more seriously we're not looking for looking for anything competitive and as we share the car an OPL track day format suits us.

Definitely be interested in normal track days now I've finally finished rewiring the car after its loom disaster though :)

One day to go and my car is in bits.... New (improved) oil cooler pipes ready to go back today if/when I get time. Doubt I'll get around to resetting my geometry to how it was previously; I tried more conservative camber for the road this summer but think I preferred it before... Better in the wet now but generally slower
