Blyton Park track day.

At Stoneliegh we discused "highjacking" the LCB/PPC Mag' day at Blyton on the 18th Sept. It's been a great day the last two times it's been run with great track etiquet, relaxed atmosphere and numbers are pretty small so little queing... And it's only £100!

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/6 ... 269&page=1

I've u2u'd Frank (who's organising) about it but there nothing to stop individual LCB members entering anyway and there's been plenty of "friends of friends" previously. I'm already entered. So far the details have only been on LCB but it'll be in the next copy of PPC Mag so worth getting in now before the rush.

Frank has relied and says it's no problem. Either contact him via the LCB thread linked above or direct via e-mail... I'm loath to put someone elses e-mail so work it out... frank-hall at hotmail dot co dot uk

Just to 'bump' this, and trying not to steal Adi's thunder ;-). The JPSC will subsidise this trackday to Current/Recent JPSC Members to the tune of £25.
If you wish to 'rejoin' the JPSC let me know as currently there is no charge.
The mechanics of the £25 subsidy are still being worked out, but I suggest you book directly with the organisers asap to book your place.

Sorry for the delay Edd; I've been waiting for Frank to get back to me about this.

Any members wishing to book this should e-mail Frank (frank-hall@hotmail.co.uk) who's organising the PPC Mag' day to check availability. As long as there's space book by paying him £75 via paypal (as a gift and be sure to put JPSC in your payment comments bit) and post on here so we know who's coming. Once the day is full the club will pay the remaining £25 per member booked on.

There's camping available the night before with showers/toilets on site (£10 payable on the night) and there's been a lively evening of (moderate) drinking and bull-shitting before the previous events. Only downside to that is you have to be on site before 8pm as they lock the gates.

Don't hang about though as once it appears in PPC Mag' it will fill up quick. It's a great little track with very little to hit for beginers and plenty to challenge the experienced.

Great stuff, have emailed Frank so hope there are spaces. Might even dig out the tent and stay over... :D

Can't tink why. It's not like it isn't local or anything 8-)

It'll be in PPC mag' when it falls on the door mats this Thursday so expect it to book up pretty quick after that.

Would love to come, but 150miles each way with no trailer and it being a Thursday makes it too much.

Regretting my wimpy decision already, but my rule is "never change the plan".

I will have to enjoy the event via You-Tube and the tales of others.

Surely you can manage 150miles... might take a couple of batteries and some dry-ice but I'm sure you could acquire some.
