Sounds good to me. I'll drop you a PM with my mobile number, as I guess it'll be difficult to agree a time in advance...

Posted elsewhere, but also here for completeness:

Folks,

As we do every year, we plan to hold the JPSC AGM at Stoneleigh this weekend.

It will be at 1pm on Sunday, around the (new) JPSC marquee/shelter. We have brought it forward by an hour, as in the past it has been too much of a rush to get to the supermarket before it shuts to get BBQ food !

The AGM is a very short and informal affair, and all are welcome.

One difference this year is that Pete is standing down as Chairman. Edd has volunteered to step into the breach, provided that members are happy with this.
In addition Pete is volunteered to stay as Treasurer for one more year, again, provided members are happy with this.

We look forward to seeing as many people at the show as possible – feel free to drop in for a tea or coffee at any point. Let us know at the time of the AGM if you want to stay for a BBQ on Sunday night, so that we shop for the right number of people.

Thanks,

The Committee.

Well that was a good weekend.

Sat I had a nice drive down on Sat afternoon via the Peak District and Fosse Way arriving around 4.30pm. Time to set my tent before Pete arrived with the new club shelter. Setting up that was a lot easier than the old one... and we had electric power... mysteriously :D By 6.30 there were 11 of us setting off in convoy for the curry house. Good meal and back for beers in the shelter.

Sun dawned bright and sunny after a chilly night (I always double up on the sleeping bag at Stoneleigh these days) and opted for breakfast at the farm shop along with JimG and Matt. Then a day looking around and socialising; The more shows I attend the more time I spend bumping into people. I'd say we had 20 cars on the pitch including JP in his new blue Vectis, so a good turn out (and we had the AGN but I'll leave the "Glorious Leader" to tell you about that). Then BBQ for most and a trip out to the local pub for a few... then more beer and getting seriously pished ensued.

Mon, bright weather again and breakfast again, this time with Jim Sean, Craig and the surviving, non-comatose Scottish contingent, then time to get some parts and stuff before the crowds arrived. More chatting, clearing up and packing before setting off home around 2.30 and got a clear run up the M6.

If you missed it, you missed out. See you all next year.

It was indeed a great weekend.

Got burnt walking (most of) the length of the Malvern Hills on Saturday... then slapped on the sun cream for Sun & Mon, which, for a change, was a good move!

Great to see some J15s and Vectises (Vectii?) along with the usual mix of other JP creations.

The Halls were noticeably less rammed with stands than a few years ago, but there seemed to be plenty of footfall so not all bad.

Great to catch up with existing friends and some new faces too!

Adi,

Remember, don't mention the breakfast place.

Very pleasant weekend.
I think my warm engine is due to a non standard thermocouple preventing the thermostat fully opening. Nothing to do with the fan.
To translate into real language (yes, I broke my car again when trying to improve it).

You could always drill out the valve to 8mm's or 6mm's as I did to start with.
