Donington show 24-25th Aug

Postby adithorp » Sat Aug 17, 2013 12:51 pm

So who's going? Is the club going to be there?

I'm planning to go on Saturday weather permitting.

Looks like I might have to change plans and go on Sunday instead. The forcast looks better for that as well.

Is there only 2 of us making the effort ? Wasn't a bad show last year (for a first attempt)and it'll only suvive if people turn up. There's no 750 motor club racing this year but there's a Classic Sports Car club meeting on with free access for show visitors. http://www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk/

Had hoped to be there as a club stand but some urgent family business means I have to be elsewhere I am afraid. I don't think any of the other JPSC Committee members are around.

August Bank Holiday is a bit of a mixed bag as a Kit Car show weekend - lots of people with kids are on hols, but a better chance of good weather.

Yeah I think having it on the bank holiday weekend is always going to be an issue.
