Phoenix is back

So after the trailing arm parted company with the axle at Snetterton in November the Phoenix is finally back. It has been with Steve at Fury Sportscars getting 'beefed' up on the rear axle, now everything has a gusset (ohhh matron) and the axle has been banded, panhard mounts strengthened and so on. I also have adjustable rear arms so I can play with the angle of the diff. All the mounts have been drilled out to 1/2 UNF and all the 12mm bolts replaced. They have also rebuilt the rear drums (apparently one drum was overheated and the other slave wasn't working at all) so I have rear brakes and a working handbrake (which you can't drive away when it is on). On top of that some side mirror extension and bits and bobs.
So it is all ready to go now. Interesting Steve put it on the scales.....with 35l of fuel it weighs in at 643Kg which is a bit more than I was expecting but is in the ball park according to Steve (pretty much the same a Windscreen Fury with a Zetec). Still with fuel it works out to be 528BHP per ton so not bad.
What does yours weigh and what is your PWR?
