me and my mates are planing a re-fabrication of the early phoenix bonnet...some call this model also Striker Clubman MK4 ..it looks like this

the bonnet will have a slight scoop in the centre (as the original one), no further cut-outs / holes or a large bulging scoop.

is there generally any interest? pricewise i cant say anything, yet.

Do you need to Jeff? Not sure how things lie but plenty of company make pattern car parts, such as wings bonnets etc, would they have to pay royalties to the manufacturer. Not really sure how it works?

Interesting point. If I suddenly decided to start making Fury bodies (as a for instance) what rights does Fury Sportscars have to stop me....I assume there is some form of copyright/IP going on here. Making a wing is one thing but the bonnet is virtually 1/2 the cars bodywork.

We own 6 phoenix and nobody can supply us with body parts....so why we should not re-manufacture them? As we all have fitted "historic" engines we do not need to modify the original bonnet for modern engines.

So...is there any interest?

"We own 6 phoenix and nobody can supply us with body parts."

have you tried the manufacturer, might be a good starting point? I am sure they will supply you with bonnets or in fact any bits for a phoenix you might need?

you mean Jeremy? yep...we sat togehter with him in his house but he had no info for us about replacement bodies nor who might own the moulds...according to what we understood, the moulds for the "old" bonnet does exist anymore.
