Postby jeffw » Thu Jul 16, 2009 1:01 pm

Guys

Anyone know what the diameter and open length of the standard shocks fitted to a square-tube Phoenix would be ?

Thanks

Hi. I just ordered a new set from Protech, think they were 12" open 9" closed. They have the specs on file. BUT I changed the top-eyes on the rear to give me an extra inch, so mine are 13" open at the rear. I could not get 1/2 rake without this as I run 14" wheels and as such have to run the front slightly higher to clear the headlight bowls. Good shocks so far.

Interesting as I have 12" open all round and am still able to clear the headlight bowls and run 25mm rake.

Doubt it mate :)

Mine is old (1996) so there may well be differences.
