Finally got round to making that fuel tank.

http://flic.kr/s/aHsjGPojKr

I think is about 44 litres as the webers like a drink.
I also got a little plate welded to the side to mount stuff to if need be.

Its 3mm thick ally and is Renault 5 proof http://flic.kr/p/f8RCRD

I see you have the same little mini tank underneath as mine Dave --- are you going throttle bodies then :?: If the pump sits right next to that and you run 8mm fuel pipe delivery/return , you wont need a fuel swirl pot with extra lift pump ;)

Yep, I've seen the little swirl pot on a number of tanks the hole above it is only 50mm dia. the pot is 90x90x50deep. So the idea is the fuel goes in but doesn't come out the top.

The breather and return fittings on the top of the tank are AN6 and the one at the bottom is an AN8. The plan is to try to mount the pump to the side of the tank and shove the filter under the bonnet somewhere.

The AN fittings look cool with the stainless braided hose but its expensive and probably overkill.

Been speaking to Paul about throttle bodies he's sending be a number of inlet manifolds to try to see what fits under the bonnet.

not sure that is necessary Matt? HP Filter before HP pump would be enough I would think (unless the HP pump explodes)
