Indicator warning lamp connections

Can anyone tell me how to connect a single dashboard indicator warning lamp? I have used Durite indicator and hazard switches which work OK. I know how to connect two warning lamps but cannot figure how to do just one. No room on the dash for two.
Merry Christmas

Hi David
One way is to use a relay that has a separate warning lamp output
e.g. the RFL5 flasher relay from VWP

Hi Mark
Many thanks for that, I was trying to do it with a three pin flasher.
Cheers

I'm no electrics expert but I'dput a feed from each sideto the dash repeater with a diode in each feed to prevent them back feeding the other side.

Or if you're not using LED's connect the warning lamp across the two sides of the switch as illustrated here

Thanks peeps
I had tried linking both sides of the indicator switch to one side of the warning lamp and earthing the other. All worked OK except the flasher operated all the time although no lamps illuminated when both hazard and idicator switches were off. Will give your circuit a try Mark.
