Hi folks.
I'd like to spend a bit of time under the car this winter. I'm thinking of panelling the underside (got a litl'un ont he way so not sure how much time I will have) I'm pretty fed up of working at axle stand height (i.e. nose touching chassis rails)

I'm picturing something like these:

Not sure how to ge the car up that high though... - engine crane???

How does everyone else do it?

I used my engine crane to lift from the rollover bar on a Stylus that I restored chassis wise and suspension . Just wrapped a blanket round the bar first . Didn't bother with stands at all , just worked on the rear as far as could reach then roped around the lower front chassis rail to lift it at the front. Obviously you'd have to remove the flipfront though.
