Supercharged Phoenix is a go....

So I've sorted out the details of the 'charger install and it is going to happen. It will consist of
1. Omex Supercharger Kit, which includes the Rotrex C30-94, mounting plate, alternator, idler and belts plus the supercharger oil system. Need to get a MAP sensor and wiring from Omex as well.
2. Nissan GTi-R Plenum (£45 2nd hand) which will have a modified backplate from one of the guys on Locostbuilders. I all also get a MAP plenum from the same source.
3. Universal 2.5" intercooler off eBay...
4. New Pico Injectors (450cc)
5. Fitting by me (with some extras from ATSpeed)
6. Mapping with some fettlng by ATSpeed
This will make 260-270 BHP on 0.6 Bar of boost.
Once that has settled down and funds recovered I'll look at getting the Omex Rods & Pistons fitted which will drop the compression down to 10:1 and allow the charger to run 1bar of boost. This should make over 340BHP. The kit is capable of 400BHP but I don't think the gearbox or axle will take that.
The widebodied rear end is being done by Steve at Fury Sportscars and consists of the arches from a racing Fury put in place of the stock Phoenix rear arches and rear of the car painted. This will increase the width on the back from 60" to 64" and allow me to run 8J wheels with 215/225 section 13" tyres.
I was also thinking about a wrap based on a Martini Racing colour scheme but I'll wait to see how the rest works out.
Winter upgrades are go...
