Spectre race car

Just in case any you aren't aware, I'm just starting a build of what I hope will be a racing Spectre. Mind you, I've not got anything yet, but Jeremy reckons I'll get the chassis in 3 weeks or so. (I need a completely bare chassis for reasons that will become clear at some point.)
I'll be documenting all this on my normal blog which appears here.
This will be a bike-engined car, because I race in the 750 Motor Club's RGB (Road Going Bike engined) series. My current intention is to use the same engine as I currently use in my race Fury, which is a 2007 Honda CBR1000, courtesy of a nice chap in American who dropped it on the left side not long after he'd bought the bike.
Buidling a Spectre for racing is a bit of a leap into the dark, but it could be fun. I just hope I don't end up slower than the Fury. It does mean I have a few issues, such as whether I fit a full cage or not and how I make it work with my HANS device, something that isn't clear at the moment.
I'll try and post something here when I update the blog. However, if you're interested in watching it's probably best to go to the blog and subscribe to the RSS feed that's there.
