I've got exactly the same problem, being 6'2" a bit on the tall side for a striker I'm looking for a cage, can I ask how much it cost to extend the original bar and add the cage?

IIRC, the job of removing the old bar and welding in the new (higher) bar and cage cost around £700. This included the neccesary removal and refitting of the rear bodywork.
