When is this sodding snow and ice going to go away. I haven't driven the Striker for at least 6 weeks !

Winter time is upgrade time, will have a flat shift and some other bits next time I get to drive the beast

On the plus side, I'm off skiing on Sunday.

I drove the Phoenix 50 miles today....I collected it from Powerspeed now the exhaust is finished

We've got the opposite problem....40 degs here in Perth.
Probably more in my workshop, I'm not game to venture out there to check

Well after the rain we had last night, there can't be that much salt left on the road !

. Well ,personally I wish they'd leave the salt in the heap . Salt wasn't used when I first past my test decades ago . Snow ploughs simply swept the snow aside leaving a couple of compacted inches for us to drive on . Major roads got a little grit(not salt) and I don't ever recall not getting home or anywhere else I needed to go. All schools stayed open too . I had a Mini pickup at the time and winters were always -10 and sometimes -20 with snow hanging around till late spring some years. Frozen previously salted roads are a pain in the BUTT . I had a chainsaw and shovel in the back during winter which got me past wind blown trees down on one or two occasions. I quite like pitting myself against the elements anyway ------- rant over !!!!!!
