Well how about that for a tempting offer?

You may have noticed my previous post that i now have a striker!
I'm on one hand like a small child who's just discovered the taste of mud and wants to keep going back for more, but at the same time, every time i go over to the beast i'm a little overwhelmed with it and where to start.....
I know what needs to be done, i'm just not too sure how everything should go on a striker. I've been looking at countless numbers of photos, but you don't get the right idea from photos...

So i wanted to see if there's anyone reasonably local to me who would like to meet up somewhere so i can have a nose round your car and see what i should do with mine!

So i'm in Horsham (near gatwick), if anyone fancies a beer on me and a chat and a nose.... please let me know!

Do you have the build manual of it? If not, i've got one that i could scan (on monday) Mine is the original mk2 manual wich also covers the mk4 (full bodied striker)

no problem, don't have a scanner at home, but have one at work, so monday evening you have a manual.


Found a scanner at home, just scanned it, 9MB pdf file, pm me and i'll send you a link of where it is. (whoever that wants it)

1st Friday every month there is a JPSC pub meet at the big Grasshopper pub on the A25 between Westerham and Oxted, 7pm onwards. Jim Giblett comes every month and lives in Horsham, him and a few guys generally drive up together. Between us we can probobly answer most of your questions!

i would definitely like to come along, unfortunately i have plans tonight but if it's on next month i will be there!
