Hi,
Does anyone know the correct part no. for a Pinto Starter? Mine has failed, or at least won't survive Le Mans! The one that was in was 10 teethed, but the prt number stamped on it relates to a transit one with 9 teeth. I suspect it has been reconditioned with a different cover!

Edd,
Can't you nip into Halfords and get the part no from their books, then buy it cheaper elsewhere ?

If they had books for Starter Motors, they can't even find it listed in their DB.
I have one now but no time to fit it till next week now. Appears to be right one though!
