6 point harness installation - pics needed

Postby petercoll » Sun May 09, 2010 9:03 am

I am about to install some 6 point harnesses in my Striker. I am pretty certain what I need to do, but some pics of what other people have done would be great.

Thanks,

Pete

I presume the issue is with the crotch straps rather than the other 4 ?

You need to have the two extra eyebolts slightly behind the opening that the crotch straps go through in the seat. Mine are straight through the floor with the spreader plates and nuts which are sold with the eyebolts.

I fitted these

Better to use the proper plates, at least I thought so.

Cheers. Just made the hole in my seat for the crotch strap - slightly nerve racking ......

I think I may reinforce around the hole I have made.
