New wheel choice

I'm looking for some new wheels for the J15.
I'm in the US and there are very few wheels here that are the right spec.
I need
15 x 6 ( or 6.5, 7 )
4 x 108
38 offset
ford Hub size
light weight !

Any experience with the following;
RMD ET38 - weight?
Wolfrace Triad - weight?

Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Chet

Hi Chet,

I started a thread last year when I was looking to change tyres (which ended up turning into a wheel & tyre change) which may be useful for you to read through:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=78&start=10#p340

I also found that www.potn.co.uk were quite good at quoting wheel weights on their website.

I also put the details on my website:

I have three sets of wheels from: http://www.rimstock.co.uk/

There are many wheels in the range, though I use Pro-Race 1.2 in 15x7 (trackdays) and 13x7 (sprinting).

Ben Lansdowne-Gray (bgray@rimstock.com, +44 121 5256500) is extremely helpful, and there can be discounts for car clubs (Westfield owners get it!).

They will manufacture a wide range of offset, PCD and hole pattern to order.

Website indicates that USA export is possible.

P.S. No, I don't have shares -- but, in a previous life, they were a customer of mine ;)

Image (http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/) manufacture truly gorgeous (and very light) wheels to order -- though we've found it a challenge to get them to perform to any sort of deadline. Guy uses their "Billet 93P" 15x7 for racing.

Expect an invoice 3-4 times as large as from Rimstock :(

Hi Chet,

I considered 15's for the Fury before succumbing to the inevitability of 13's! I was going to get OZ Superleggera in 15x7. They are 4.7kg from memory, come in 108 PCD and 37 offset. I think they've been superceded by Ultraleggera, but you might be able to get them from a well known auction site.

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks for the info-

I really like the Image 93P wheels but the OZ Superleggara wheels are a more realistic choice.

Please let me know of any potential vendors who carry these wheels in the UK. I'd like to find them quickly and ship them with my chassis.

Thanks
Chet
