live axle shock setup

Postby Fizzer » Wed Feb 24, 2010 10:01 am

Next question. I've just removed the crusted rusty yellow lumps which were once spax shocks on the rear of my live axle fury. I noticed that the adjuster rings were wound up as far as they could go (and seized too) - I can only imagine that it was set up like that to provide ground clearance for the sva (I bought the car with only 100 miles done since sva...)

So, my question is, how much 'sag' do people have in mm when they drop the car down off the jack?

It's zetec engined, live axle and the springs are 130 x 9" - I believe the shocks are the standard spax items
Live Axle Fisher Fury: 2lt Blacktop Zetec, Newman cams, Tiger shallow sump, lightened flywheel, grumbly webers, willwood calipers + disk kit.
