raw striker

Postby Bi22le » Wed Jan 20, 2010 12:34 am

hi all.
Im hopefully getting a raw striker soon and just have some questions. It will be kept outside so i want to get a full custom cover made so it does not leak or blow off in the wind. My worry is that it will hang on the half window and rip or create a puddle for loads of water to sit in.
The other way around it is to get a cockpit cover made up. This would be more functional. I could carry this around and use it if i leave the car anywhere. I would then just get a cheap halfords cover.
Whats your thoughts?
Anyone else keep there car outside?
Or use cockpit covers for when they leave it to go shopping?
Cheers for the help

I don't think you will find many owners who leave their car outside, but I know Neil uses his Mojo as a daily driver.

I assume the car has doors and a roof ?

No doors or roof probably makes it easier !

These people are well regarded, but probably expensive for a bespoke solution:

You can get a tonneau cover, I am sure Raw will do them. I have one on my Striker, but also have a hood. The tonneau also doubles as a boot cover and can be split in two so you can cover the passenger area and it only takes a few minutes to fit. Hope this helps.
