16v 4age conversion to throttle bodies

Postby Werner Van Loock » Sat Nov 14, 2009 12:05 pm

When I bought the car it was difficult to start and rough running etc...
Wich I think is normal when you put carbs (45 dellorto's) on a injection engine.

As I'm too young to understand Carbs :P I've decided to convert to throttle body injection wich I was planning to put on the stylus before I sold it.

I still had the VEMS ecu and bought myself a new/second hand set of Jenvey's
And now the adventure starts.
First I'm going to rebuild the engine as I found out that the valve stem seals of nr1 inlet and nr4 outlet are leaking.
And when I started to dismantle the engine it doesn't look too good, so rebuild really required.

This is where I'm at now, waiting for parts for the engine and trial fitting the TB's

That is most certainly Automotive porn and should be reported!
Seriously looks good and I bet it will work well.
