Collected my kit this weekend :-)

Got my hands on my Fury kit this weekend
Quite a marathon to get to down BGH - a little less than 1200 miles
round trip in two days, including one very cold night sleeping in the
van. Managed to get all the parts back unscathed though, and the
powder coated bits all look very nice - particularly happy with my front
uprights which were caked in a rather thick layer of dirt, rust and oil
when I sent them down!
Also pretty pleased with how skinny the GRP is on the standard weight
shell, it was always in the back of my mind that I maybe should have
ordered the lightweight body to save a few kgs, but its pretty thin as
it is. The body work looks great overall but has a few rough patches,
particularly on the bonnet near the shut line with the main tub.
Nothing I wasn't expecting really, its just more noticeable on a black
car - I'm sure I'll be able to touch it up however - need to have a look
into how hard this will be using gel coat.
Can't wait to start putting it together now!
