New Sports Car Name Suggestions ?

As previously stated, in my opinion the people who actually buy this car will do so because they recognize the quality, performance, and great design of the car. Those individuals who need a "great name" to justify their purchase probably wouldn't have actually bought the car or actually used it anyway.

Jeremy is not only a great designer but also a true gentlemen in every positive sense of the word.

Most of the feedback was just normal discussion but unfortunately some of the comments / emails have gone too far. I believe some apologies, and edits of posts (Internet is forever) should now take place.

shockers, it's official then, who'd a thunk it, I thought for sure it was a joke. I'll get a hold of the U.S. Guy and see what we can call it on this side of the pond then. With a name like that it would be DOA in the States. There are not as many people aware of JP's stature over here, so the name in the States will be more critical as there isn't the same instant name recognition. Hey, I want the car to succeed too. In fact I've been hoping for a product like this to add a little flavor to our otherwise drab kit car market. Best wishes and we'll see what we can do to talk it up over here. Just mums on the you know what...

Feels like we may have the appropriate compromise here with JP-15 Shindig. Two different things to call it - pick the one you like, and Jeremy gets to keep the name he likes (it is his design after all !).

What is interesting is the passion aroused - we do like JP's cars don't we !

I think JP-15 Shindig is a good compromise.

Hasn't one of the worlds largest companies just released a product called Windows 7, which they called Blackcomb and Vienna within their own walls?

If Jeremy wants to call it the Shindig thats his right, it's his creation after all! I can call mine the Sylva Jp-15.

To borrow our american cousins analogy regarding a pretty girl, if it was an ugly car no-one would care!!
