Hidden rust

Further to my question about selling my leader I decided to strip out the last of the horrible glued on vinyl only to discover evidence of rusting around the rear tie rod mountings , a close inspection revealed the side panel of the seat box had created a water trap around the mount. After cutting away the rusted section of the panel the mount appears to be ok , I thought I would share this info as it was quite well hidden it might be worth checking your chassis as this is a design fault hope this helps .
