The US Furys with the Hayabusa engine and glass windshield weighed just under 1000 lb ( 453 K).

As previously noted, you can save a lot of weight by using 13 inch wheels and tires instead of 15 inch. There is also a great deal of weight difference between the various 13 inch wheels and surprisingly the tires. The other big weight savings area was using the Tillet CF seats.
