The CVH and aftermarket ignition

Postby Kccv23highliftcam » Tue Nov 13, 2018 3:30 pm

Hi folks

I'll keep this short and sweet.

I am getting my Mojo back on the road after a while in storage.

Whilst my primary aim is to get the car up and running [on twin 40's] I would like to move to mapped ignition with MAP as the load sensor.

I have done some research but the cvh isn't that well supported on the whole compared to other engines. IMO.

Now has anyone used or installed a aldon amethyst unit for the cvh engine?

Now I am no stranger to exciter type sensors[in fact I designed and built the speedo input using the offside front brake disk and a hall effect switch on the mojo] but the amethyst would be the simplest way for me to get mapped ignition at this stage of the game.

So any takers? does anyone still run with the CVH and if do so, do you use aftermarket ignition control?

cheers

Andy Brown.

Sorry can't help you with the Aldon unit but I have seen many good setups using the Nodiz controller
