A REAR FOG LIGHT CONTROLLER for new IVA rules
My car was based on a Mk1 Fiesta 82 model so will this be been needed

Think I've seen there is a different way the rule is being interpreted on kits that gets around the need for that. Something to do with which lights the fogs will come on with. Think it was that it wasn't needed if they only operated with the dip beam on... but I could be wrong. Do a search on LCB.

the law / rule is not really new....its mandatory on mass produced cars since years...so why it should not be mandatroy for kits, too?

Whether the same rule should or shouldn't appy to IVA (IMO it should) isn't the question. The question is how is the wording of the rule in the IVA manual being interpreted.
