Postby HowardB » Mon Mar 06, 2017 9:55 pm

Quick Question. Type 9 on a Zetec in a fury,. Will the box come out downwards without an engine out mess,...?

Reason is it needs a trip to bgh to make it happy,..

Thanks in advance

Unlikely, you will need to take it out in one unit

All depends on how the rear support is done.

My one is bolted in so i only need to wiggle the engine forward a bit and then it drops out. but if you're underneath be careful as they're fricken heavy. They're a bit more manageable with an ally case and ally bell housing.

Some are welded in so you'll have to pull the gearbox tail past this.
