24hr Charity Sim Race on behalf of Brain Tumour Research

Postby jeffw » Mon Feb 20, 2017 7:23 am

It's still winter, its cold, miserable and everyone is broke after Christmas. Granted this is probably not a great time of the year to be entering a charity event but on the 4th of March I am joining 120+ people to drive for 24hrs in professional racing simulators around the Suzuka circuit in Japan.
The event, which will run for 24hrs solid, is all in aid of Brain Tumour Research which is a fantastic cause addressing the truly frightening fact that brain tumours kill more children and adults (under 40) than any other cancer. Despite that horrifying statistic, brain tumour research receives just 2% of all cancer research funding!
I fully appreciate that you all receive many requests per year for charitable donations but please help if you can.
£2, £20 or £200, it doesn't matter! every little helps.
TWO ways you can donate whatever you can:
1) Simply TEXT the message RSIM99 £10 to the number 70070
2) Via the website: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sim24
You can resend the text message a number of times if you want to donate more!
CAN'T donate? No worries, you can still help by forwarding this email on to your friends family and work colleagues in the hope that one of them can contribute!
Every penny counts!
MASSIVE thanks!
