Hi all,
I've been thinking about changing my road wheels for a while now, mainly to improve the gearing for when I'm just out for a potter. I'd like to go for 15" rims for the road, with 195/50's or similar on the rear. This will give me a c5% reduction in rpm at any given speed.
Just wondered what sizes people have used succesfully. Particularly interested in offsets and wheel widths.
Thanks,
Ian

Re: What wheels???
Hi
On my live axle Striker I use 6J x 15 ET18 Caterham alloys (as they're very light) others seen are the OZ ultraleggera, same offset but 6.5J I'm lead to believe.
To clear the rear axle links sufficiently I have to use 3mm spacers for a 6J rim, so would need to up those if running anything wider.
Hope this helps

The 15" OZ Ultraleggra's on my Mojo Se are 7" wide . I also have some OZ Superturismo's, but they were only available in 6.5" width. The Ultraleggras are noticeably lighter than the narrower Super T's though!
