So the next job on my car (after replacing my 1360 with a 1700 x/flow) will be to fit a header tank.
The original build was OK but tired of re-filling the coolant and not keen on letting drip to atmosphere.
At the moment, reading in to everything, I need a 13psi cap on the radiator and a blank on the thermostat housing.
The housing and radiator both have bleed offs.
I need a header tank tank of course.
Do I run a line from the radiator bleed off to the top of the header, then from the header lower to the thermostat bleed off?
Question, do i need a check valve to stop the flow going from the thermostat bleed off to the header?
I'm usually OK with figuring most stuff out but thins is doing my dinger !!!! lol
Cheers guys.
