Hi guys been a while.
I have fully stripped my leader painted the chassis, sorted all brakes, new gearbox, new prop shaft, new radiator and fan.
I now have the job of full re wire, all round new lights. Spray the body and then sort interior.
Hopefully will be back on the road for summer

Re: Update on my Sylva leader
any chance of some pictures? nice to see before/after shots if you don't have any of the process.
what colour are you going on the body? what are you doing on interior?
this reminds me - I must update my own build log!

Re: Update on my Sylva leader
I will try and get some pics up soon. I have painted the chassis red with hammerite so as to keep part of the original colour. The body will be sprayed Matt black and then I have designed some stickers in white and red to bring a bit of colour back.
Not sure what I'm doing with the interior as yet but re carpeting and putting in s new dash.
The car has now been fully stripped so will be installing new floor pan also.
Got a nice new radiator which I also have to plumb in.
Just welded new mounts and installed the type 9 gearbox as was sick of the old 4 speed.
