There is some commissioning to do. Going back to a manual system requires changing the gearlever and indexer in the box.

Geartronics have turned the GCU around in a few hours, top company. Unit it on its way back and I will have it tomorrow :)

GCU is back and is working (ie I can talk to it). Need to get a part back for the gearbox and then we are good to do the setup.

The GCU knows what gear it is in now....the paddles change up for up and down for down now as well, which is a bonus (and they didn't to start with). Just need to figure out where the pressure transducer is and get the gear indicator working and it might actually move under its own steam.

Before you piss take too much I'll remind you I only got all the parts yesterday. On top of which I've conned an electronics engineer to come all the way to Llandow to help !

Pretty much there in truth, just need to sort one earth and tidy up.
