Hi
I still have the Original spax shocks on striker, one seems to have gone stiff, not seized but stiff and the adjuster is seized.
Anyone know what to replace them with? Springs are fine and am happy with them but would like car to be full soft again, have adjusted other one to match it's stiffness and car now a tad bumpy on our lovely roads!

Pro-tech Are about the best value for money. I got mine direct from Pro-tech and they change the valving for a light car. Great service and product. http://www.protechshocks.co.uk/

Pro-comp will sell them as well. They'll revalve them, put them on their "damper wanker" so they're matched, and tell you how shit JP's cars are into the bargain.

They are good at what they do though and its nice to hear all the stories. You just have to take it all with a pinch of salt.

I was talking to Ivan yesterday about a set of shocks for my Fury he did mention that they like to get Sylvas/Fishers in to the workshop as there can be some variation in components. Matt and Ivan are very good at what they do I have had a couple of race cars set up by them and have nothing but praise.

You are right though not a massive fan of the suspension design. But as they say the stopwatch never lies and JPs cars having done the business for a lot of years

Yep they bent my english axle back into shape and got it spot on. When i took it to PGM http://www.pgmsussex.com/ for a quick set up the guy was very impressed.

Ivan has a wealth of experience.

I was just trying to warn the OP that they can come across a bit blunt/critical at times. Some people can't take it. I got no problems with it.

And I am trying to plan a trip up to see them but Brighton to Birmingham is a long way.

Lol yes you are right they are very blunt as you say you just have to take it with a pinch of salt if people are easily offended best to be forewarned
