M/C Lids and no Nomex Suit....only issue is it is mid-week.

A further issue would be losing your competition licence (if you have one), if found entering non MSA regulated competition as I understand the rules :?:

Yes, indeed. But if you wanted to dip your toe into sprinting and not spend the dosh needed for all the kit then this must be a good way to start.

Along with many other holders of MSA licences, I competed for some years in the RAFMSA Speed Challenge which ran (as Jeff describes) outside the MSA ambit (no competition lcence requirement, only "trackday" PPE required) and was designed to get newbies into the sport. RAFMSA, which is MSA affiliated, never seemed to suffer, neither (AFAIK) did its competition secretaries (both MSA licence holders), nor did I.
