Sylva Striker Rebuild

I'll firstly apologize if most have seen this elsewhere, but i thought being a Sylva it'd be wrong not to get a little thread overview
of where its finally got to,
To cut a long story short,
A good friend of my boss had mentioned back in Jan 2013 that he had a black/yellow.... caterham/lotus 7 type kit.... sat in his garage the other side of Hull,
So arranged to go have a look, from what i found out the guy had it about a year or so, circa 2001/2002 and apparently blew the head, went to view it, practically
everything seized, brakes, nuts, bolts, powdercoat lifting etc, which for 10-12 years stood (as im let to believe) was expected,
in the past 15 months its been practically a full rebuild,
new CW & pinion & diff bearings
Complete brake overhaul, pipes, calipers ,cylinders,
engine top end rebuild & skim & ancillaries,
chassis strip coat and stoneguarded,
ally panels etched and satin black,
original rad refurbed, new cooling system,
shocks refinished,
new fiberglass bodywork
fullscreen chopped & fly-screen fitted,
Dead MBE 906 ecu
and trial running Nodiz,
Carbs rebuilt, 3 times
and a glassful of blood sweat and tears,
Wont bore you with loads of pics, just a few which i think show its progress,
just waiting on a set of JK Comp seats and to get the dash wired up then hopefully MOT time!

The car looks fantastic and the rebuild and modifications you have done have improved the car even more. Great job and look forward to more pictures and the finished car being out and about.
