Re: Look what I saw
Never been "spotted" before and then twice in one day! Earlier today I got a PM on locostbuilders, seen on the M67 on way home.
I had a good run there and back but it was a bit too busy around the paddock to have time for me for me to bother my old cycling friend amongst the throng of autograph hunters. Did you see the que in the pit lane at lunch time?
It was the first road run I've done with my new engine (it's been on track) and I was pleasantly surprised by how it went... Christ it's quick! The race cams do make it a bit highly strung setting off at low revs though, so I left early to avoid the queing and went the long way around through the lanes.

Yeah the queue was massive. Were you in the paddock when the air ambulance took the awning out!!!? Scary!!! Had to hold on the missis to stop her getting blown away! She's only little.
Noticed you went early. Glad to see the new engine is doing well.

No I missed that. I guess it was for the guy they stretchered from the VW start incident. I left towards the end of the trackday trophy race and before the 2nd GT race.

Yeah I guess so. I've been trying to find out if he's ok but I can't see anything. The restart of the race later in the day was also red flagged. Manic!

The VW race guys and there entouages struck me as Wannabees when I wandered around to paddock... and I think there was a lot of Daddies footing the bill.
