Sylva J15 Clutch Lines

I have been running the brake lines on my car and was about to get started on the clutch lines. I am wondering if I should make the clutch line 1/4" instead of 3/16" since the fluid volume movement is much greater and I don't want the clutch to drag when the pedal is released.
I am using the Duratec engine and Fiesta ST150 clutch and gearbox with concentric slave cylinder.
I am only hesitating as getting adaptors between the 1/4" line and master cylinders seems slightly tricky.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Or used 3/16" lines sucessfully?
Thanks,
Keith.
