Live axle striker rear bushes

Postby Rad334 » Thu Apr 04, 2013 7:13 pm

Can anybody help me with identifying what rubber bushes were used originally on a mk3 live axle rear end?
My striker is fully rose jointed but I've decided to convert it back to rubber bushes. We will make new arms so as long as the bushes are 1/2" bolt size and a similar width to original (around 1 5/8") the external bush size won't matter I'll make the arms to suit.

Seems the bushes are the same as they use in a TVR part number C0092 if anyone's interested

Why don't you change only the axle ends to poly bushes then you'll still be able to adjust diff nose angle and adjust rear thrust :?: Red poly's from Wisbech Engineering with ss inserts will be just as flexible but last years longer.
