Re: Fury Spyder Duratec build
extract from IVA section 20 for information.........
In the case of a Dipped Beam headlamp the minimum height will measured to the apparent trace of the beam cut-off on the lens. If this point cannot be determined then you will take the lower edge of the illuminated area

I was interested as I'm a frequent(ish) visitor to FSC and have never seen a car modified like this to pass IVA, thats all.

I do know what I am talking about.
A Classic bonnet will never pass as fitted "normally
Sorry, just thought it worth checking. Thinking about it, I seem to remember something about extensions being used on the shocks (or their mounts) being used to raise the possible ride height to get around this.
Dopdog, it may not be relevant to the OP but could be to anyone else still building.

It's an RGB car but he wanted it road legal to allow test driving. With the lower race chassis that was the only way to get the lights high enough.

I'm amazed that arrangement would pass '' radius '' checks even on the old SVA
Especially when you consider how stupid they are about steering wheels with split ally spokes , you know ''' you could get your fingers caught in the slot '' argument
