i guess you are searching one of the above radiator-caps?

for the brakes: the balance is made by the size of the mastercylinder, in relation to the size of the brake caliper clyinders.

so if somebody replaces drums by discs, keeping the original master-cylinder, the balance wont be right. it could be that the rears now work less efficiant than before or vice versa, even that the rears now lock earlier than the fronts.

therefore some production-cars have stepped master cylinders. thats why kitcars / racecars often use a bias-brake.

your front suspension is inboard i guess? the lower "wishbone" is created by the original escort TCA?
i thought the castor is made by adding shims in front or rear of the pivot-point of the rocker-arm?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a 'zero' pressure rad cap? I have two 15lbs caps on both the XR2 thermostat housing and on the rad. There's no expansion tank at all, so when it gets hot it blows the coolant out. So i was thinking of using an expansion tank and having the pressure cap on there, this is the way my old westfield used to run and without any issues

Certainly you can get caps that will not open under pressure at all. I don't have a rad cap but there is a Stent cap on the water rail and a overflow tank with a non-pressure cap.

Just cut the pressure gubbins off the bottom of the cap. That's what I did Phil to get precisely what you have described.

Yes that's the kind of cap I was after.
There's bias pedal box in the car.
Yes Escort lower TCA arm and another custom(fixed) arm make up the lower arrangement. Early upper rocking arms were fixed, there's no spece for shims. But this really only gives you castor and not camber

here are some pics of the headlights

I'll take some photos of mine later but basically someone has recessed the lights further back than they are in mine. All of the chrome bezel and then another 1/2" or so shows on mine (the top of the bezel just touches the perspex cover) in front of the fiberglass. This means I have about an inch less light bowel in the wheel well. The lip on the back where the bolts mount effectively needs to be in front of the bonnet not behind.

ah right ok, be interesting to see how it's possible without looking messy. As you can see the back of the bowls are already cut out.

The rear bowl could be much smaller if necessary. I don't think it looks messy and the mount is hardly noticeable from the front.
