I've checked the price of doing a Elite IL-300 and it is close to £8K fitted which is out of the question. Other choices are Quaife 57G H-pattern box or the 60G sequential but they are all over £6K.

Spoken to BGH this morning and it turns out I have a E6 box which is rated at 260BHP / 220 ft.lb. The car is going to Fury Sportscars this week who are going to drop the engine/box out and sent the box to BGH. BGH are going to upgrade it to a E8 with some extra tweeks and it should then cope with over the 280BHP/250 ft.lb they quote. My car makes around 340BHP & 270 ft lb so we should be just about OK.

So sorry re - the gearbox Jeff , although you did finish on an 80sec's run --- I ended up on an 81.84sec's best and 10th overall after bouncing all over the place through the crossover and chicane , my feet thrown off the pedals and glasses vibrating BUT somehow missed all the cones I was seeing double :o Alternator bracket that's been there for 6 years snapped , I'd forgotten just how rough N Weald is having been there last in 2004.

I did a 85sec run while cruising in 4th having lost 3rd.....As for Adi smirch on my character....is go go go, I can't see any yellows in that video, in fact I can't see much at all that video ;)

Be nice Jeff, or I'll post the rest of it, that has me up your chuff for the next 10laps and no sign of you moving over. ;) Well it would show that if you could make it out through the fuzz.

I don't remember you 'right up my chuff' for 10 laps, but rest assured it wouldn't happen now.

Why's that... cos' you'd break down in 5 ? ;)

Think the contest might have gone a bit one sided once you passed 250bhp.

There you go then Jeff --- didn't I say Brian would be able to come up with something that wouldn't break the bank :D Certainly not Elite or Quaife money anyway ;)
