Hi David
My wheels are 15" cant measure the discs accurately as it is all fitted up but by the best approx they are 240mm my dividers wont fit over the hub unless i take the wheel off.
Jeremy either told me the escort mk 2 fronts or the part no mdc1030 i cant remember which way round it was and the autofactor gave me the other half of the info from one or the other.
My calipers fit on the bracket exactly for height and needed 1 washer as a spacer across the width between to centre the disc between the pads which is exactly the same as Jeremy had on Chets? car when being built.
If you have a set of 13" alloys i can understand trying different things but the car was originally developed for 14" would it be easier to go for the 14 or 15 inch cos if you look for alloys there isnt much selection in the 13" but i appreciate they will be lighter.
Next time im working on the car ill get the wheel off and measure it properly.
Good luck with the build

Re: J15 Rear Brakes
Nick, thanks for that. I'd be grateful for the OD of the disc and also the diameter of the bell when convenient. Would also be interested to see any pics if you have them.
There is plenty of choice with tyres for 13" wheels and of course the lighter weight you mention.
Sounds as though your build is a bit more advanced than mine. Let me know how you get on.
Cheers David

Hi David
Measurements are OD 240mm
OD of the bell is 145mm
bell depth which is i think is the offset i ordered ET38 but i measure it as 36mm
disc is 10mm thick
Done some phots but cannot upload them as to big (it doesnt take much to confuse me with technology)

Nick
Many thanks for taking the trouble to give me those details. I shall have a measure up tomorrow and see what I can work out.
Cheers David
