Well seeing as RAW are currently producing the Pheonix, I'd guess they should be the first call.

we are planing to re-fabricate the early bonnet, incuding the front valance, 7" headlamps and without scoop.

so i guess RAW can not help in that matter?

surplus: is there anybody who could confirm that the actual RAW Phoenix Bonnet is a direct fit to the "old" Sylva Phoenix?

Micha,

raw striker website seems to be down at the moment.

If you google on "phoenix bonnet price raw" and use "quick view" then you can see the complete price list.
Price for a bonnet is £654 + vat + shipping.

I do sympathize with your position.
Remanufacturing if just for personal use would surely be morally acceptable.

thanks for the price. so we made a short calculation:

654,-pound are about 760,-euro...plus VAT. surplus shipping outside UK..which would be quite expensive i guess?

the company who would fabricate the bonnet for us, asks around 850,-€ / bonnet.
ok...we have to pay also for the mould...but than the mould is ours, built exactly to our spec. and we could re-frabricate a certain quantity of bonnets, and a very big advantage: its "only" 40km away.

His question is "does anyone else want to buy one of his knock-off bonnets".

I think the view from the collective is that selling them would be frowned upon.
