this looks like the typical pedal-box brake layout with the typical redirection lever.

can you exactly describe what you arent happy about?

spongy pedal?
poor brake efficiency?
poor brake efficiency in combination with a hard pedal?

what brand of brake pads have you fitted?

Hi thanks the pedal seems quite hard And little braking effect.

I think I am just expecting a bit much from an 80s non servo system.

I have put in ebc green stuff pads.

what size bore is your master cylinder?
Sylva Star 2L Fiat Twincam with Twin Weber 40 DCOE
Currently being restored after 10 years standing
